Monday evening, April 21, approximately 8PM, the citizens of Phoenix Arizona were treated to a spectacular sighting in the sky. Eye-witness reports, photographs and video tapes have been flooding the airwaves, newspapers and National TV.
An unidentified man claims responsibility for the unidentified objects. Maybe its true, but I do not blindly care to take an "unidentified" person's word for anything, nor do I trust mainstream media's ability and/or desire to report the facts accurately. What was encouraging was the quick response by our community and ourselves.

Phoenix Red Lights- Hoax Prank - Mystery Man Speaks - AOL Video
UPDATE: Wednesday morningPHOENIX - Police will not investigate the mysterious lights seen flickering in the sky.Witnesses across the Valley spotted the four red lights Monday night. Some speculated they were UFOs but that does not appear to be the case. A Valley man told 3TV he was behind it all! He says he took four large balloons full of helium, tied them to road flares and let them go! Phoenix residents and the media were still abuzz over the mysterious four red lights that appeared in Monday night's sky in north Phoenix.The man, who did not want to be identified, told 3TV that he used fishing line to attach road flares to helium-filled balloons, then lit the fares and launched them a minute apart from his back yard.A Phoenix Police Department helicopter pilot who witnessed the lights said they appeared to be flares, possibly hanging from one or more helium balloons.Witnesses said the lights initially appeared to be in a straight line, then formed a square and then a triangle before disappearing.The man interviewed, who asked not to be identified, said he believed turbulence created by a passing jet caused the balloons to move around.

Visitor Submitted UFO Photograph
One lady says she saw something very unusual in the sky last night near her home. The woman believes it was a UFO, so she called Three News to investigate it.
We have received several calls about UFO's ever since we aired a special report in February. This woman said she was a non- believer, but after last night's encounter, she's now a believer.
Here in the Rancho Allegre neighborhood in Alice located off of State Highway 281 and 44, an Alice resident said she saw something in the sky, while doing her laundry on Monday night. So she grabbed a camera phone and took a picture.
She said this is what came out. On the horizon, she saw this bright light hovering with what seemed to be a reflection below it. Seconds later, she said it disappeared totally.

My friend and I hiked a very remote coastline on Kauai called the Na Pali coastline. The first night we camped out on Hanakapi'ai beach. On this beach I noticed a bright planet in the horizon. Might I note that the sky on Na Pali coastline is extremely clear at night. You can see every star in the sky. Anyway, I noticed a bright red planet on the horizon around 9 PM. I turned away to talk to my friend and after a couple minutes I turned back around and I noticed that the "red planet" was moving up in the sky slowly and it rose up and then it got pretty high and I was yelling at my friend to check this out. It flew up and then flew towards us and it flew over our heads. It looked like a red saucer but as it got closer to us over our head I could see that it looked like it had little legs under it. My friend and I were freaking out because a few minutes ago it was just hovering over the horizon like a star or planet and then it just decided to fly over our heads.

We had a number of reports from reputable individuals (well-educated serious-minded folks, scientists and fliers) who surely saw something.
As Air Force Chief of Staff, in his 1965 autobiography, Mission With LeMay, stated that although the bulk of UFO reports could be explained as conventional or natural phenomena, some could not.
Many of the mysteries might be explained away as weather balloons, stars, reflected lights, all sorts of odds and ends. I don't mean to say that, in the unclosed and unexplained or unexplainable instances, those were actually flying objects. All I can say is that no natural phenomena could be found to account for them... Repeat again: There were some cases we could not explain. Never could.

The show was exciting and informative. Bill discussed his role and the purpose behind the UFO Hunters on History. He talked about UFO Magazine and what is in its future. Visitor Submitted UFO Sighting
Sci Fi Channel's Ghost Hunters visit Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio to investigate claims of activity in multiple buildings. During their stay in the Arnold house, they encounter up to 5 separate entities, engage in communication via tapping noises and even get the spirits to turn on a flashlight and close a door.
On a side note, during the show they mentions aliens twice. While driving to the base they said something about the Air Force already having aliens, so why not ghosts! Later, during an investigation in one of the buildings, an employee had a very large copy of The Roswell Report Fact vs. Fiction in their cubicle!

Income Tax Season is Over!
On a personal note, the income tax season is over so now I have a good portion of my life back. No more are nights and weekends spent filing people’s taxes, at least until the middle of next January.
Career Day
This Thursday I will be attending a career day at a local elementary school. I will be discussing both my main job, Business Systems Analyst to talk about what I do, the type of education I had for it, why I chose it, etc. On a more interesting note, since I attached my signature, the person in charge saw that I investigate the paranormal and suggested I discuss that as well. I will be discussing how I manage my career in computers as well as being an investigator.
